Skilled Carpenter

Work Location: Multiple locations


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour


Job Description: We are seeking a skilled carpenter with a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
  • Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
  • Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter.
  • Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • High school diploma; successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Framing: 1 year (Preferred)
