This project involved an addition of 3400 SF that aimed for a seamless look between the existing and new portions of the log farmhouse. A log stairway leads to a study above the master and guest suites. On the main level, a new kitchen area, with tile flooring and punchy accents of red, blue and yellow, was added and includes an eating nook, a cozy entertainment area next to the fireplace, and a custom bar. The kitchen in the existing house was remodeled into a spacious dining room with warm log accents. A sunny new tiled bathroom emerges from the glass hallway that serves as a tranasitional focal point between the two areas and leads to the master bedroom, with new fir flooring and a built-in entertainment center. Out the front door, a row of Adirondack chairs along the new 1000 square-foot deck offer sweeping views of beautiful Bridger Canyon.
