This award-winning 2200 square feet cabin built in the heart of the Paradise Valley was envisaged by the owners to invite the outdoors in, with expansive views of two mountain ranges, the rolling meadows surrounding the building site, as well as the Yellowstone River, through the wall of windows. A range of natural and sustainable materials was used to create the sense of being a part of the environment, rather than insulated and apart from it, resulting in a very organic feel to the home. This residence illustrates that a modern design can be more than capable of delivering the expansive sense of the mountain west.
